A little bit about who I am and what you'll find.
My name is Annalisa Hiroyasu, and I am currently a first-grade teacher in Coupeville, Washington. I have been in education for 15 years and have absolutely loved teaching first grade for the past 3 years. I live on Whidbey Island with my husband and three children. When I am not teaching I enjoy traveling, playing with black lab and mastiff, and spending time with my extended family and friends!
You will find some resources for students, educators, and families that are aligned to Washington State Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards that are developmentally appropriate for first-grade learners. The sources selected will help provide information on art, literacy, math, science, social studies, and social/emotional learning. My hope is that you find these resources useful in your educational instruction and can find a way to utilize them in some capacity to enhance student learning.
