Children create a monster and take it on a journey playing rigorous games with phonics schemes that help improve their reading skills. Kids start out learning to map letters to sound identification. They work their way through their game journey and progress through letter combinations (phonemes, build to sight words, reading full sentences, to writing stories about their monster’s journey. There are three starting points along the way for the game based on children’s current reading levels. Completing the game takes approximately 43 weeks based on 20 minutes of play per week.
