A Bit About Me

As an Educator, I’ve developed, executed, and analyzed curriculum and instructional methods for several nationally recognized school districts. As an educator, I oversee and create instructional content for classroom and digital learning platforms, and use technology to help build a community of digitally literate educators and learners. Connecting with students and families with innovative learning strategies and making them excited about being digital citizens is my favorite part of teaching.

In the classroom at Coupeville School District, I’m responsible for providing both in-person and online learning instruction for students and staff. During my time at Coupeville, I've led with our social impact mission in mind. As a Google for Education Teacher leader, I've led professional development for school districts focusing on integrating an interactive online teaching and learning platform with a curriculum focused on Common Core State Standards. In 2016, I developed a new Technology Integration course for the Fayetteville School District that focused on teaching 21st-century problem-solving and the skills for kindergarten through sixth-grade students, including a feature for KNWA News Feature "Teachers Changing the Classroom".
