Racism, Injustice, Equity, Development and Community Unrest

With anger and violence of historic proportions prevalent in today's society, students of all ages are certain to be faced with feelings of confusion, hatred, or worried. Parents and educators may be at a loss in how to help children understand what is going on.

On this page, there are resources that parents and educators can use to talk to children and help them sort through issues of race, racism, violence, trauma, inequity, social justice, coping and resilience and understand how the impact of social inequalities may leave some children more vulnerable than others and it's effects on child and adolescent health.
